The allegory of the of the cave.

Plato' the allegory of the cave'(The Republic,Book V11)
Let me show the real and the unreal world. Human beings held captive in underground caves with the only light they can see,is the light coming from the the mouth of the cave. The light was reflecting along the wall of the walls of the caves. Chained together from childhood , from legs to neck, all they could see was, what is seen on the wall of the cave.
You have shown me various materials, but Icould only recognized them by the shadow that I see on the walls. If someone is to speak while walking by, they could not recognised the speaker because of the way they were  bound together. When freedom came to one of the prisoner, he was forced to look at the light. After experiencing the pain, he then went to inform the other prisoners what to expect. They felt comfortable living the way they are , in preferance to the world of reality.

In today’s world, we are being misled by a lot of information being given to us. For instance, global warming is a hoax like autism, which was delivered by Apollo astronauts, who really land on the moon. President Obama being born in Kenya. The black helicopter trying to impose one-world government on us.
We humans, have long been accustomed to believe all the lies we are told. Like the mosque being built at ground zero, which is not really a mosque or not ground zero. Researchers, from Oho State University recently conducted a study on how much false belief e can absorb and how it impacts our lives. For all the talk about the Islamic Cultural Centre being grounds constructed at Park Place, people of reason will have their doubts .The difference between the first amendment and the locals, deserves a fair hearing, but was misguided by the information.
The center is not going to be built on the grounds of the towers destroyed on September 11,but will be constructed on the site that is now a coat factory. The center will contain among other things, a mosque, culinary school, auditorium restaurant, library and a fitness center. The man who will be leading the center is Feisal Abdul Rauf, is not a person who embraces terrorists. He worked for the State Department during the Bush administration, to foster peace between east and west.
In a new study conducted by R. Kelly and Erik Nisbet of Ohio University. About 750 people were given reading materials to study. After reading the material 28% of the subjects did not agree while 35% felt that there were   merit in the new information.
What was most alarming to the researchers, is how easy it is to influence people  beliefs. People tend to form their own opinion about a subject, and when shown added information it is hard to convince them, no matter how hard you try. In this world, it does not matter whether the information is real or unreal, we must make use of the information given , if at all we are to accomplished anything.

Blog 1: How to do one thing at a time,

We all know that multi-tasking is not a good idea. The brain is functional only when ask to do one thing in an orderly manner. It gets confused when you impose more than one order at the same time. Studies have shown that if you think of more than one thing at a time you become confused. My personal experience of multi-tasking is having to remember the various home assignments that is given.

If we impose too many tasks or multi-tasking, the brain react differently. When the brain is focus on one thing, we have positive results. When the brain has to do many things, it becomes confused, in so doing we have a negative result.

In a study program conducted by Professor Clifford Nash at Stanford University. He used a group of students to arrive at his result. The study programs used a group of students for 30minutes doing multi-tasking in music playlist, chatting and writing short essays. A second group was given the task of focusing on one activity. The end result was that those that had one task to perform, out did those that had many tasks.

In my personal experience, I am confused if i have to remember the various home assignments given by various instructors. If  however,  i take notes from what is said and done ,my brain will remember .My brain can only give the maximum result if, it is focus on one thing. It can only become organize, if it is asked to do one thing in sequence.

If we are to be successful in everything that we do, we must be organized in whatever we do. We must not try to disorganize the brain. We must always perform one task at a time. However, if we do become confuse, it can be rectified by the practice of yoga and acupuncture. In using these two methods, we can reverse this chronic habit and of such, sharpen our focus.
