Blog 1: How to do one thing at a time,

We all know that multi-tasking is not a good idea. The brain is functional only when ask to do one thing in an orderly manner. It gets confused when you impose more than one order at the same time. Studies have shown that if you think of more than one thing at a time you become confused. My personal experience of multi-tasking is having to remember the various home assignments that is given.

If we impose too many tasks or multi-tasking, the brain react differently. When the brain is focus on one thing, we have positive results. When the brain has to do many things, it becomes confused, in so doing we have a negative result.

In a study program conducted by Professor Clifford Nash at Stanford University. He used a group of students to arrive at his result. The study programs used a group of students for 30minutes doing multi-tasking in music playlist, chatting and writing short essays. A second group was given the task of focusing on one activity. The end result was that those that had one task to perform, out did those that had many tasks.

In my personal experience, I am confused if i have to remember the various home assignments given by various instructors. If  however,  i take notes from what is said and done ,my brain will remember .My brain can only give the maximum result if, it is focus on one thing. It can only become organize, if it is asked to do one thing in sequence.

If we are to be successful in everything that we do, we must be organized in whatever we do. We must not try to disorganize the brain. We must always perform one task at a time. However, if we do become confuse, it can be rectified by the practice of yoga and acupuncture. In using these two methods, we can reverse this chronic habit and of such, sharpen our focus.
